This dog... I can't even... she is just too much. Look at this face! Just look at it! She's this taupe colored shar pei (is taupe even a color for dogs?), somewhere between gray and brown. And she has a little face like a rhino. She's 7 and lives with her parents, Natalie and Jon, and brother Winston, a shar pei/boxer mix (mostly boxer, if you just look at him).We had a pet photography session back in February, a surprise birthday present from Natalie to her husband Jon. I know, I've used that in a headline who knows how many times. But our event at the most excellent Maxwell Dog in Studio City was an absolutely amazing photo shoot! I was blown away by all the cuteness that entered the boutique that day. But sadly, Señor was ailing and he looked it. By then, he was 17 and that day he didn't feel well at all. Still, we pressed on.Señor died shortly after the photo shoot. Maggie has a picture with her and her mom and baby Señor, just a snapshot really, but one that is so important to her. ...
So, yeah, I have the website and I update it all the time with all of the animals I've been photographing. I put the best of the shoot, usually only one picture, and then I'll write a blog about other images that stand out.But I put together a compilation of dog photography that I've taken over the last year in a video. It's interesting to see it in a different format. It has fun music (I'd never put music on a website, I hate that!). One of the things I actually do, besides pet photography, is I create videos -- little films. When I create a slideshow for a client, I try to include little snippets of live action video in the slideshow. It's fun, it brings it to life, it's kind of ...
