I met Carina, the 7-pound Maltese, because her wonderful mother Janice bid on a silent auction my public radio station, KPCC, was having. I offered three silent auctions and Carina was the last of the three (I know you've seen Jack and Mongoose and little Frankie).We first photographed Carina at Janice's home last week but the skies were quite gloomy, not letting in a lot of light into Janice's beautiful home.
